Putting things in order

Today I put clothes on a hanger and this week coming I'm going to get rid of what I don't wear and hang up what I do

Putting out the trash

This morning I woke determined to put the newspapers and magazines I've blogged about out on the curb for trash pick up.  I now look at the spaces where the newspapers and magazines had taken up residence and said to myself I will not replace those spaces with clutter.  I find this isn't as easy as just writing and saying it but I'm going to continue to keep these areas clear.

Coming Soon Pictures of my Home

Today I've decided to take pictures of different rooms where I haven't began to dehoard.  They will be posted soon.  Also today I take out the trash and in that trash will be my newspapers and magazines that I've been holding onto for years.  Goodbye I'm saying to myself to my old papers

Reading about other Hoarding

Today on TV news a hoarder of animals, trash, and just miscellaneous things was arrested after he stood naked outside his home and neighbors called police.  The news shows the inside of the home and the police removing dead and alive animals.  What really caught my attention was the person was only one year older then myself. 
I am today gathering my old newspapers and magazines and putting them in large trash containers and getting rid of the clutter.

Organized Chaos

Today with talking with others and sharing my hoarding experiences I found my hoarding isn't just throwing or tossing things around but in some ways organized but putting too many things such as newspapers, magazines, old VCR tapes, in a large or small space.  I notice I will pile and stack things on each other until they will almost topple over then prop or begin another pile right next to that one. 

Shredding a little

This evening I shredding some of my saved reciepts that were several years old.  It felt interesting at first to look at each one then it became easier to shred them faster without checking what I bought but that the reciept date was several years old.  Whew!!!!

Newspapers and Magazines

This morning I'm looking at the newspapers and magazines that I have in the dining room stacked up and I'm making a deep decision to tackle this project starting Monday morning.  I will look through some of them today but I know its going to be hard part with them but I know I must.
